After an evening celebrating with your family and friends, finish your event at the Cool Springs House in style! The sidewalk leading from the front porch steps to our circular drive way naturally lends itself to spectacular send-offs. As you make your way from the house to your car with your guests lining either side, the historic facade of the house makes a perfect backdrop for your photos.

To help you in your exit strategy planning process, we have listed our approved and prohibited send-off methods, with some examples of past events. If you have a send-off method idea that is not listed below, please reach out to the Event Venue Director for questions and approval.

Ribbon wands
Pom poms
Real flower petals (all petals must be cleaned up prior to departure)
Confetti streamers (that stay attached)

PROHIBITED

Sparklers or fireworks
Confetti
Rice or birdseed
Fake flower petals
Floating lanterns or balloons
Any other items that create a mess

COLD SPARK MACHINES

The Cool Springs House is happy to be able to allow clients to use the latest wedding send off trend: cold spark machines
To use a cold spark machine for your send off, they must be supplied, set up, and managed by a licensed and insured vendor. The vendor must remain on site to manage the machine through the entire process. To ensure these are used with the utmost safety at our historic sites, all powder used for the cold spark machines are required to be inside powder, even if the machine is being used outside. Prior to using for your send off, or any other area of your event, you must notify the Event Venue Director for approval of machines, companies, and locations.
