Social Distancing
WHAT DO WE NEED TO DO TO SOCIAL DISTANCE:
According to the CDC, social distancing requires that persons not of the same household should maintain at least six feet of separation from one another. This applies to events in the following ways:
Capacity:
Outside events may not exceed a maximum capacity of 50% at the Cool Springs House, or no more than 125 people
There may not be more than 50 people standing inside the house at any given point
There may not be more than 15 people in any single room of the house
Social Distancing
Clients should ensure social distancing among guests to the greatest extent possible, including but not limited to:
Ceremony chairs are required to be spaced six feet apart for those who are not in the same household
Reception tables must be spaced six feet apart and should contain only those members who live in the same household
Layout and Rain Plan
Clients are required to submit a layout to the Event Venue Director, which details specific social distancing plans
In the event of rain, appropriately sized tents must be used to ensure social distancing
Food and Beverage
It is recommended to switch to an alternative type of food other than buffet. If that is not an option for your event we recommend switching to having a gloved member from your catering company serve the food to all guests
We would recommend to put food outside in the reception space. If you would prefer to keep food inside, we recommend:
Spacing guests 6’ apart as they enter the house to get their food
If spacing guests 6’ apart is not an option, all guests are required to wear a mask while coming inside to get food
WHAT IS A SOCIAL DISTANCE LAYOUT?
We are requiring that all clients who choose to have an event above 50 will need to submit a social distance layout. This should show all of the social distancing requirements above for tables and chairs.
If you need assistance with creating a social distance layout please reach out to the Venue Director for assistance. We are happy to help you create one!
